Terms of Service

2026-07-20

These terms govern your use of Passexamen, available at passexamen.fr (the "Service").

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Sava Labs Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16124943, with its registered office at Unit 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, Poole, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

The Service is hosted within the European Union.

2. What the Service is

Passexamen helps you prepare for the French civic exam (examen civique) with practice exams, sourced explanations, and progress tracking. Passexamen is a private study tool. We are not affiliated with the French Ministry of the Interior, any approved exam centre, or any public authority, and using the Service does not register you for the official exam or guarantee a passing result. The official question lists are public and free on formation-civique.interieur.gouv.fr; we sell the training layer.

3. Accounts

You need an account to take practice exams. You must provide a valid email address and keep access to it; login is via one-time codes sent by email. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Purchases and access

Paid access is sold as a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal; access is granted for the lifetime of the Service, under the conditions stated at purchase. Prices are shown in EUR, inclusive of any applicable taxes, at checkout. Payment is processed by our payment providers; we do not store card details.

Until-you-pass guarantee: if you fail the official civic exam, your access remains active at no extra cost. You can keep practising and retake the exam as many times as needed, within the lifetime of the Service described above. This guarantee covers continued access; it is not a promise of a passing result.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Because access to digital content begins immediately after purchase, you agree to waive the standard 14-day EU withdrawal period in exchange for instant access. That said: if you were charged in error, billed twice, or the Service didn't work as described, email us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you.

6. Acceptable use

Do not share accounts, scrape or redistribute question content, attempt to disrupt the Service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, translations, and explanations, is owned by us or our licensors. Official test questions originate from the public federal catalog; our explanations and translations are our own work.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep content accurate and the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that practice content always mirrors the current official catalog. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence (including French/EU consumer law).

If a dispute with our support team cannot be resolved, EU consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge, and may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
